Hips and Hammies with Jess and Jenn

Do you have tight hips and/or hammies? These are two common areas of the body that we store tension. Whether you’re looking to gain more knowledge for your personal practice, or teach these types of poses effectively this workshop is for you! Adjustments allow us to begin to find greater freedom and safety in our yoga practice. Whether you’re a teacher or a student, it’s essential to understand how each person’s body is different, and how to approach those differences.

In the first part of this workshop we’ll spend a little time discussing how to adjust the alignment of various hip opening and hamstring stretching poses. In the second half, Jenn and Jess will take you through a relaxing class aimed at allowing students to receive restorative-style adjustments for the hips and hamstrings.

This workshop is great for any yoga teacher, or practitioner looking to learn more about and gain hands-on experience adjusting. Optional CEUs offered to RYTs.
